US-based Shield AI has proposed including Poland in its next-generation autonomous combat aircraft X-BAT program and establishing a regional F110 engine maintenance center for NATO's F-16 fleets. The project is expected to take shape with the involvement of industrial partners, as GE Aerospace is the manufacturer of the F110 engines.
